Lesoteka Group combines various activities and partner companies directly or indirectly related to forestry and wood processing in the forest-wood chain "From the forest... to the house!" Primary wood processing includes sawing timber at our own sawmill in Šentjanž near Dravograd. The main product resulting from this process is sawn softwood timber, supplied in a wide range of wooden products, varying in dimensions, quality, types, and processing. Our high production flexibility allows us to prepare batches of sawmill products in non-standard dimensions for clients in a relatively short time.

Wood Purchaser, Processing Most Wood Internally

We process a significant portion of the acquired logs at our sawmill in Šentjanž near Dravograd. The construction and sawn timber obtained find their way to the end customer or are used in building solid wood houses, packaging, pallets, pellets, shavings, and by-products are processed into thermal energy. We strive to add the highest value to the wood that grows here, employing people from nearby local communities. To ensure smooth production at the sawmill, we require logs.

Wood of Carinthian Spruce

The wood of Carinthian spruce is the raw material for the highest quality softwood products. The habitats where we obtain wood are located high in the forests above the Carinthian basin. The wood is valued for its exceptional quality, known for its excellent balance between quality and price. It is used in building structures as an essential structural material, utilized by carpenters for living needs, and employed by both industries and individuals. Sawn timber is professionally processed with modern circular saw technology, shaped according to customer preferences and requirements.

Quality: Healthy wood, sharp-edged, the possibility of sawn or cut heartwood

We saw all types of conifers. Pine and larch are in the minority, while the vast majority (more than 95%) consists of spruce and fir. The maximum length of a sawn product is 6 meters. For longer lengths, we offer glued laminated timber. We saw all sizes and dimensions – planks, battens, boards, and beams, with or without the heartwood removed. Certain products, such as planks of various dimensions and battens, are mostly in stock. We also cut to specific dimensions. For individual requirements, we can assemble the necessary package of wood in our store. If the request is very specific, we arrange production individually.
